Let us begin with a quote I think is very insightful. “You are what you eat“. The proverbial saying ‘You are what you eat’ is the notion that to be fit and healthy you need to eat good food. Fruits are God-given and they have a very important role in the nutrition of the human body. It is healthy and nourishing.

In Cameroon, we are greatly endowed with a variety of these fruits such as pineapple, banana, orange, apple, pawpaw, pear, watermelon, just to name a few; most of the fruits we have been locally cultivated.

Fruits serve as a good source for Vitamins and Minerals. It can also serve as appetizers. According to this post, “The best time to eat fruits is first thing in the morning after a glass of water. Eating fruits right after a meal is not a great idea, as it may not be digested properly “.

Fruits can be eaten in different ways by individuals. Some would prefer fruit salads, others would choose smoothies while some would enjoy juicing.
