Schools Turned Into Hospitals In Madagascar To Cope With Covid-19’s Rise.

Amidst the upsurge of these pandemics, Madagascar turns its schools and hotels into hospitals, to aid the handling of covid cases. With a steady increase in cases, the president, Andry Rajoelina who had earlier rejected the Covid-19 vaccines for locally made herbal infusion, has recently joined the Covax programme.

Covid-19 vaccine kick starts in Libya.

Some 430 centres have been approved across Libya as nationally known stations for the vaccine. While priority is being given to the elderly, those with health conditions and health personnel, centres have been queued with people waiting for their shots.

400, 000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Libya

Libya recently received doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 400,000 doses. The country will be administering a mix of vaccines, the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab, Russia’s Sputnik jab and the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine according to the age of each person.
