Modeling‘ is a term not common within the ‘Church‘ (Building), and its mostly taken by many Christians to be a ‘Worldly‘ concept. There has been a lot of arguments on whether Christians should indulge in modeling or not, and those ‘for’ always bring up Queen Esther (Bible character) as a reference.

Tell us a little about yourself

My name is princess Forbah Miriam, 26 years old and, 3rd; from a family of 5 girls. I have a certificate in computer software and received an Award from Dukes of Edenburke Awards. I am a musician, a model, and a seamstress. I dance and I love acting.

Is this your first time going in for MCC; and why did you consider registering this year?

This is my very first time going in for MCC; I considered registering because it has always been my dream to be part of a modeling team that does not follow the pattern of the world. As I heard of MCC I was grateful to Father God for a dream come true, and then I had to register.

Will you say it’s ok for Christians to engage in modeling activities?

Yes, it is very ok for Christian to be part of modeling activities in order to show the world that modeling is not about nudity. we have to let them realize that you can model anything excellent with decent dressing. As Christians, we need to take over every and all things for it’s our right in Christ Jesus.

How are you handling this period of the coronavirus pandemic?

I provide face masks to a few persons. And because God has given us the Spirit of boldness and a sound mind, and not of fear; I don’t fear but follow every instruction put in place to stop the spread.

What are your expectations for this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon?

Well, my expectations are to learn more and meet up with any and all tasks I will be given. And not to leave the same way I came.

Got a word for young ladies?

Young ladies wow my word for you is to know who you are because if u don’t know you, u will mess up big time, and also focus on God. Don’t be carried away by things of the world because they will all pass away, but the word of God will never pass away so cling to it. Let reading the Bible, praying, be your lifestyle, and nothing more!

Miss Dilics Lemnue

Tell us a little about yourself

I am Dilics Lemnue forgoh an 18 years old science student studying civil engineering and architecture. I am a model and an event organizer. I am a hairstylist, a makeup artist, and a nail designer. I am equally an actress, dancer, and a TV presenter; doing these as part-time. I am a sportive; I play both football and handball. I plan meals for people with a special case; I love cooking!

Is this your first time going in for MCC; and why did you consider registering this year?

Yes. Reasons being; it’s being my dream to create and build an event in modeling that is of God and It’s my vision to train models in a Godly path. Moreover, I see MCC as my foundation for my dream and vision, a foundation to impact and motivate youths on the reality of life and how to overcome fear and be whatever they want to become. And again, I am best for it.

Will you say it’s ok for Christians to engage in modeling activities?

It’s very ok for Christians to engage in modeling activities because we are using our talent to praise God. We can live a life of Christ in whatever we do and that makes us open to whatever we want to be in Christ Jesus.

How are you handling this period of the coronavirus pandemic?

I stay home actually, I avoid the crowd, and wash my hands frequently. I give a meter distance to people. I am working on a project to produce hand sanitizers for my community and praying everything ends soon so our life can we normal again.

What are your expectations for this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon?

My expectation is for MCC to give me the opportunity to showcase my talent to the world, to help build a foundation for my vision. I want MCC to build a leader in me and grant me the opportunity to show my projects And the opportunity for me to be among the best.

Got a word for young ladies?

To every young lady out there; be determined, be self-confident, be fearless, and stand on your words always. Do not let anyone or anything intimidate you, be courageous no matter the circumstances. Always believe and trust God. Relationship with Father God is the best decision ever; showcase your talent to serve him. He will surely lift you higher than u think. Stay blessed with lots of love.

Miss Kellikaina Kumi

Tell us a little about yourself

I am called Ngam Kellikaina Kumi from the Northwest region. A 20 years old student at the University of Buea; reading journalism and mass communication (300 level). I am an actress and video vixen in a freelance entertainment company.

Is this your first time going in for MCC; and why did you consider registering this year?

Yes, it is my first time going in for MCC. I decided to go in for this because I believe I can inspire and lead people with the grace of God operating in my life.

Will you say it’s ok for Christians to engage in modeling activities?

I stand for the fact that Christian can go in for modeling activities. As a Christian, you need to be self-disciplined and have the dignity of a Christian lady. Consider the kind of shows, dressing, and modeling competition you part take in.

How are you handling this period of the coronavirus pandemic?

In this period of coronavirus, my top priority is prayers for the situation to be calm and for the whole nation to be restored. I follow the necessary measures by the government to prevent the virus especially staying at home.

What are your expectations for this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon?

My expectations for this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon is for them to believe in me, become a queen to impact lives around the world. I believe with God all things are possible!

What I have for the young ladies out there is to overcome fear and be courageous; aside from that have faith and belief in your self that you can positively do anything in life, thank you.
