miss christian cameroon interview

Modeling‘ is a term not common within the ‘Church‘ (Building), and its mostly taken by many Christians to be a ‘Worldly‘ concept. There has been a lot of arguments on whether Christians should indulge in modeling or not, and those ‘for’ always bring up Queen Esther (Bible character) as a reference.

Tell us a little about yourself

Thanks for the interview, I’m honored. I am Siewe Joaddane, an 18 years old girl who is in love with God; building my relationship with him. Every time I think of where he took me from and where he is taking me to, I just want to know him more, love him, and make him proud !!!

I live in Yaounde and I study Law and political sciences. I love singing, baking, modeling, dancing( not at its best) haha…, speaking (motivating, encouraging), reading, and I’m currently developing some love for spoken words. Ohh, you said I should say a little so I’ll end here. For more, come and discover me at Miss Christian Cameroon 2020 ❤️

Is this your first time going in for MCC; and why did you consider registering this year?

> Keep Reading: Ads May Show<

Yes, it is my first time. Well, I wanted to register for last year’s edition but I wasn’t feeling ready enough, bold enough, prepared enough so I gave up. I don’t feel so much ready this year either but I believe that if I keep on thinking I’m not good enough I may end up never doing it; so I’m pushing myself, doing what I can and trusting God.

Will you say it’s ok for Christians to engage in modeling activities?

Though for many people it is not, for me it is perfectly okay for a Christian to engage in modeling activities. Modeling is an art, just as singing and dancing so why will Christians not engage and even overtake in it? People should also consider the fact that God is the one to have created all things and as a result, everything should be used for His Glory (modeling included).

How are you handling this period of the coronavirus pandemic?

Well, since the beginning of this pandemic and given the measures which have been put in place by the government, we are forced to stay home. As for me, while at home I enjoy being with my family, I cook, I bake, I watch TV and I sleep. One thing I’ll also say is, this period has been like fertilizer to my spiritual life given that I have more time to pray and to meditate. God has been faithful!!!

What are your expectations for this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon?

During this year’s edition of miss Christian Cameroon, I expect quite much:

> Keep Reading: Ads May Show<
  • I expect to be empowered spiritually; be taught how to use my God-given talents in more ways to bless lives and let them make ways for me (as the Bible says), learn more about God and why not about myself!
  • I equally expect to meet lots of people. Some of whom will be those sent by God for me to go a long way with; destiny helpers, friends, mentors, mentees (etc)
  • I expect to have an enriching experience. One that will not just help me spiritually but emotionally as well. Help me be bolder, more confident, stronger (etc)
As a whole, I expect to get out of the contest grown up. Grown-up Spirituality, emotionally, mentally and why not financially if it’s possible.

Got a word for young ladies?

Hey Girl!!! You are beautiful, You are capable, You are enough. Don’t let people’s opinions define you; don’t let the world define you. Hey! You are so priceless, don’t lower your standards for any reason, not even for a man in the name of love. Be so rooted in Christ that for a man to reach you, he has to reach Christ first.
I love You ❤️
